My main motivation to accomplish my dreams comes from the teaching of children also wanting to pursue the career of a dancer. I find that the
willingness and imagination from human beings whom have not witnessed the reality of auditioning and rejection very uplifting and genuine. I teach children from the age of 7-18 year all of which have different prospects in dancing, many just come for the sheer enjoyment and social side but occasionally there is the dedicated child who wants to attempt to train professionally. There is no special treatment for either type of child but as a teacher I help to cultivate each child to achieve their maximum. Watching a child improve, practice, and grow as a human being not only in technique but confidence too (which is needed with whichever path they choose) motivates me to learn more to pass down to them. With 45 youngsters looking up to you 'to want to be like you' pushes me further to work harder to achieve my dream. One of my biggest accomplishments is creating choreography for these childre
n to perform in theatre's in their area, observing the parents reactions and how proud they look when they see their child perform is an invaluable lesson to the pleasure created by entertainment.
Videos on Youtube.com also inspire me to give the children the best training that they deserve. Children who train to dance in America learn much more complex routines and techniques so I aim to boost the variety of movements much more efficiently at a younger age so they can
make more progress quicker.
This particular video I have linked, completely mesmerized me the first time i watched it. The depth of performance, the truth of the words and the young girls ability to perform, sustain and technically carry such a performance, truly does the choreography and the performer

justice.
Secondly, a catalyst for work comes from the breath taking music by Stephen Schwarz. Once one of his albums of his musicals such as 'Wicked' or 'Children of Eden' is played nothing can stop me from striving to reach my dream of performing on tour or in the Westend. Whether it be on route to an audition or just a dull day when I am bogged down with work or money worries, playing his outstanding and creative music reminds me of the goal on the horizon.
My favorite song, although quite ambiguous is 'Dancing Through Life', the orchestration, the choreography and the lyrics help me recall my dream and career in dance. As recalled by Fiyero in this masterpiece of a show-stopper...
' Stop Studying strife, and learn to live the Unexamined life'
This particular line motivates me to realise that nothing in the world of dance or theatre is incorrect, learning from each other and creating new prospects helps the world of entertainment evolve from year to year. Fashions change in theatre as well as clothing, there are no rules so I try and embrace them to create and be involved in projects that are available for me.
