The calm, quaint and historic town of Stony Stratford is about to be invaded by a fresh new venture for Thursday evenings! The prestigious Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School is creating a new level of inspiration for its pupils by introducing a selection of modern and creative styles taught by Rosina Andrews who has been trained professionally in theatre. The classes will create an atmosphere perfect for the learning and development of the children's creativity boosting their confidence and sharpening their understanding of the ever changing and prestigious show business industry.
Rosina's knowledge of dance and her bubbly, slightly eccentric and perfectionist attitude towards teaching will give your children a dance class very different from there usual syllabus and technique classes and will leave your child buzzing with excitement. Rosina has trained intensively for the last three years at one of the top dance colleges in the country and graduating with a higher diploma in Professional Dance and musical theatre. Now having graduated she lives in London, the commercial dancer capital of the UK, extending her knowledge of dance genres. She is embracing the variety that being a dancer enables her for, encompassing the benefits of teaching children, auditioning with some world class choreographers and taking class with my talented peers. With this first class knowledge your children will not fail to enjoy her classes and be inspired and want to continue their adventures in dance and the magic of theatre.
The classes that are being introduced are Musical Theatre; ever changing from week to week encompassing the different styles of musical theatre, Hip Hop; for the younger 'popstars' of the future letting them have fun with the latest dance styles to hit the uk and Advanced Jazz; preparing our students with the mentality, stamina and perseverance of a dancer at vocational level acting like the arm bands and rubber rings before they get thrown into the deep end!
Each class will be tailored to the age group and experience of the specific group focusing on improving their weaknesses and boosting their strengths even more, most importantly nurturing the progress of each individual child with a friendly, focused and fullfilling teaching environment.
If you would like anymore information on the exciting new classes or would like to put your name down to be involved in this brand new and structured dance classes, please contact the Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School directly.
Rosina, I am really enjoying reading your writing styles. This is a definate improvement from your first draft. You have managed to condense it down without loosing the atmosphere of the piece.
ReplyDeleteI still think your paragraphs could be broken up, making it easier for the reader to absorb, especially the second paragraph.
Have you thought about showing the reader more than telling them? You do start by showing them using your sentence "the clam, quaint historic town" You should think about continuing this throughout the piece. So try and show the reader the atmosphere you create in your classes rather than telling them about it.
Also maybe you could use some metaphors and similes, such as my classes will give you a sweet smell of sucess or you will leave feeling as bold as brass. Just a thought.
