Classes in Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Advanced Jazz
will bring the school bang up to date with the latest dance trends and techniques. Whilst working in the classes, we will link together the different styles an
d energies from the students to create an atmosphere perfect for learning and improving you
r dancing.
Musical Theatre: For pupils aged 12 and upwards. A fun
class that will change every week, learn the latest routines, musical theatre pieces and experience in all
different
genres. With Rosina's knowledge of auditions, teaching and the theatrical business, you will learn the most recent
routines, so when you go to the theatre you will recognise the moves and see them performed to the highest standard by the professionals
giving you an insight into how hard these performers work.
Junior HipHop: For pupils aged 8-12years. A fast and funky class, learning the late
st routines and enhancing picking up skills and performance for auditions. Having had a week of
disciplined school and syllabus dance classes this is a welcome break for these children to let their hair down and have fun meanwhile improving their knowledge and versatility of dance genres from a younger age.
Advanced Jazz: For pupils GRADE 5 and upwards. A student a class based on
improving stamina, technique and performance with auditio
n technique preparation and knowledge. Please note, this is not for th
e feint hearted! As we realise a lot of our older pupils are just about to take up dancing professionally at further training colleges, it is vital for them to begin to get the mentality and stamina of a full time dance student prior to leaving the school.

ReplyDeleteOk, so I think the opening paragraph has a few spacing issues if you have a look the words are separated? After reading it again I think that maybe you should in bold write “The Myra Tiffin School of Performing Arts has something new for September” this is inviting and makes people wonder what it might be.
I think the information about the timetable and the website should go at the bottom as in my previous comment on your last draft I think its useful to include but not vitally necessary.
I like the use of pictures as you have chosen ones that are going to advertise your piece well as Hairspray was a very successful musical; Cheryl Cole seems to be everywhere right now and that amazing strong picture of a perfect 180◦ split. I still think that you should highlight the different genres.
You have again mentioned about contacting the school but not left a number. You have a website but you can’t presume that everybody has access to the internet.
Otherwise this is very good Rosina.
